This was a very personal decision and is not a decision I recommend to others - just a decision I made for myself. If you decide to undergo the procedure, it’s up to you to evaluate whether or not it’s the right decision for you. Here are some studies I found helpful during my research. The research is not currently conclusive as of April 2023. There are mixed results and the concensus seems to be that more studies are needed. This seems to be a very important area of study so I will make sure to keep my eye out for future research done on both saline and silicone implants.

    We always did this in the 80's when competitive bodybuilding (both womens and mens). We called this.. wait for it... on and off season. Most of us didn't go all out crazy during off season, though, because it's harder to get down to competitive weight. Powerlifters really pork out.

    Not being hungry all the time really is SO amazing, and i have you to thank for getting there myself. I also had to do an “all in” year, completely listening to my hunger cues, and it was seriously rough mentally…but OMG was it worth it. I literally never would have believed it was even possible to just casually have chocolate in the house and forget about it. The peace is invaluable 🙏

    Wait till you get my age! Your going more and more extreme fatigue and some days, you will have anxiety. I dont recommend to traine hard core when you have anxiety crises. Take care and keep it mindful.

    Im a male bodybuilder who competed in shows struggling with hunger. Even on 4-4500 calories whole foods. Kinda wanna test this all in experience, but i know i cant deal with the weight gain, i just like the way i look too much. Im not even shredded all the time, but even staying at 12-15% bodyfat is a struggle for me. I was very obese growing up, my genetics kind of want me to be 20-25% bf but i cant deal with that

    If you set yourself to a ridiculous 900cal per day for your competition preparations while your resting metabolism is at least 1600cal, then you are indeed reacting extremely to rich food. Keep yourself drier with 300cal to a maximum of 500cal below your daily consumption (training/work) and then you will certainly not go hungry and you will also become toned/drier.

    i have always had my period but i have always been skinny and i always thought i ate alot. But i started tracking my kcal and it turns out it was way less then i thought. my period had been out of whack ever since i stopped birth control and it's mostly 33+ days to get a cycle. now i am trying to increase my calories and i think it's working in the first time in years my cycle happend after 31 days. It's to early to tell but if it keeps improving every month if i stick to eating more. Then i know that undereating was my problem without realy knowing i was undereating

    Yet it is striking that it is again a woman with their typical self-complexes when it comes to food. you can be quite toned and muscular and enjoy food without fattening yourself like this lady on the film. how? it is a matter of choosing between austere days and a rich day such as Sunday and vetch and roads. She is not going to tell me that she does not miss that good feeling of being fit and toned. If I were her I would go for that body because it was beautiful. And you can also build 10kg extra muscle so that your resting metabolism increases by 1000cal and then you can eat more to combat that persistent hunger you speak of

    I know it's one voice in a very loud and sometimes overwhelming room of voices, but I am very proud of you for doing what is best for you. The end. Because in the end, it will only be you. And you are enough. And you can remain proud as long as you stay true to you. Congrats on achieving many, if not all, of your goals and having the courage and strength to follow through.     Wow, thanks for your vulnerability! As a Dietitian, I am so proud of you for addressing your hunger/eating issues and took this brave step to better your health...and found a way more sustainable way of eating and living. Bravo!!!! Keep it going girl! <3

    Check the blood glucose levels (walmart has $15 blood glucose meters). It's normal for it to go up . The problem is when they do not go back down each week. Make sure your blood sugar does not above 200. Normal numbers when not eating are around 70 to 110 mmol/L. Blood glucose/sugar are an important health number that you can get at home. You can decrease the numbers by cutting sugars for 3 days per week. Some do keto if things have been high for too long. Sugar can affect the mood. After a sugar high, there can be a crash; and for some the crash can be a feeling of depression. Do have breaks from sugar often, at least weekly or alternate days.

    Hi Stephanie Buttermore, I lost 18kgs / 39 lbs by eating higher fat, moderate protein and carbs... 60 20 20 % split. The above was done, eating OMAD - with very little weight training, even my NEAT was not that great either. I am not sure if you have addressed this question before - if you have could you provide a link? Q = what were your intake breakdown? Fat, Protein and carbs when you went ALL in. Cheers.

    We women are complicated ;) great information! At 51 I’m just starting to understand my body and hormones and how much it all affects my workouts, strength and endurance etc
